TAMPA, Fla. \- The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating a homicide that took place on Regents Park Drive, off the 19000 block of Bruce B Downs Blvd.
Deputies responded to a call at 2:51 p.m. reporting gunshots and a deceased person in the roadway. Upon arrival, they found an adult male victim.
Detectives are actively working to determine the events leading to this tragic incident.
“For our community to have to drive by a deceased male in the roadway is absolutely horrific,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister. “I implore the community to come forward if they have any information whatsoever. No tip is too small.”
