Pasco Deputies Remove Suspicious Device In New Port Richey, Roads Reopened

NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. – The Pasco Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a suspicious device around 10:30 a.m. in the area of Bradshaw Dr. in New Port Richey.

As a precautionary measure, both Runnel Dr. and Bradshaw Dr. were closed to traffic.

"PSO deputies located & removed the suspicious device. A thorough search of the area didn’t reveal any additional suspicious devices," said Pasco Sheriff's Office.

Residents were advised to avoid the area until the investigation and the scene were safe.

The area is secured & there is no known public safety threat. Runnel Dr. & Bradshaw Dr. are now open.
