GIBSONTON, Fla. \- The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is investigating the discovery of a body near the intersection of Lula Street and Cedar Street in Gibsonton.
Deputies responded to the scene on Thursday morning, June 13, 2024, around 7:00 a.m., following reports of a body found beside the road.

The investigation is in its early stages, and detectives are working with the Medical Examiner's Office to determine the cause of death.
Preliminary findings suggest this is an isolated incident, and there is no threat to the public.
