Leicester unhappy with Graham Potter’s indecision

Leicester’s hierarchy are not happy with Potter’s stance and with that, They have now turned to Cooper – who was spoken to throughout their hunt for a new manager, as well as West Brom’s Carlos Corberan.

Leicester are now talking with Cooper – who is eager to land the job having been out of work since being dismissed by Nottingham Forest in December.

The 44-year-old has a good track record in developing young players – a trait which has likely wooed City’s board.

Leicester can’t afford to wait for Graham Potter

Evidently, Leicester recognise that they can’t wait around for Potter to make his decision with the transfer window now well underway.

Sporting director Martyn Glover will be hard at work behind the scenes identifying targets and without a manager in place, none of the deals can be worked on.

So, it seems unless Potter makes a decision imminently, Cooper will be the next man in the dugout at King Power Stadium.

Having survived in a Premier League relegation battle previously, City are clearly confident that the former Forest boss can retain their top-flight status.

Though, he’ll be up against it from the off, with a point deduction looming.

A telling few days await Leicester.
