'Considering': Daniel Farke could now bring back two more of Leeds' loan army for next season - journalist

Daniel Farke is now considering whether to bring back two more of Leeds United’s loan army into his squad for next season.

Farke has already moved quickly to reintegrate Brenden Aaronson back into the fold at Elland Road after holding talks with the USMNT international earlier this month.

Aaronson even rejected the chance to move on loan for a second time this summer, and so clearly it is a conversation with Farke that has done the trick.

This is certainly a change of stance for Farke from just a few months ago when Luis Sinisterra’s permanent move to Bournemouth was confirmed back in early February.

Farke hinted that not one of Leeds’ loan army would be welcome back by referencing that reheating food in a microwave never tastes as good as when it is freshly cooked.

Transfer insider shares Farke stance on Max Wober and Rasmus Kristensen

After news of Aaronson’s return, it has certainly peaked interest among supporters regarding who could potentially be following him back to Elland Road.

Supporters had seemingly washed their hands with all eight of the loan army from last season, but may have to get used to the reality of more than just Aaronson being back in the squad.

LeedsUnited.News have spoken exclusively to transfer insider Graeme Bailey regarding the futures of both Max Wober and Rasmus Kristensen, given they are two players without loan exit clauses.

Bailey was among the first to report that Aaronson returning was a distinct possibility and has now offered an update on what could happen with the American’s former RB Salzburg teammates at Leeds.

He said: “It is something Farke is considering. I think a lot of it will come down to the players as well. There is a fair chance you could see one or both [staying], depending on how Leeds’ other business goes.

“As I said before, I’d heard Aaronson could come back, that’s happening. Wober, there is interest elsewhere so we’ll have to see how that pans out, decent chance he might come back as well.

“Leeds are in a good position if they can add Kristensen and Wober. I wouldn’t rule it out by any stretch of the imagination.”

Wober now makes new admission on Leeds future

Prior to EURO 2024, Wober had insisted he was giving no thought towards his future at Leeds for however long Austria remained in the tournament.

However, after a nightmare individual performance in Austria’s opener against France, Wober has already broken his silence on the matter.

The 26-year-old says that Leeds have told him talks will be held when he returns from the tournament, and it certainly feels there is more and more of a chance he could make a comeback.

He said: “There is currently total radio silence on both sides. I’ve heard from Leeds that there will be talks once the European Championships are over. They want me to concentrate on Austria for now.

“In Gladbach I said goodbye to everyone and thanked them for the cool year. So far, I haven’t heard anything else. My ideal scenario would be that I become European champion with Austria – and then take a nice two or three week vacation.”
