Motorcyclist dies after collision involving two cars on A1198 near Papworth Everard

A 53-year-old motorcyclist has died following a collision on the A1198 near Papworth Everard.

The man was riding a black Kawasaki motorcycle at about 4.50pm yesterday (Wednesday, 19 June) when he was involved in a collision with a silver Ford Focus, and then a blue Mazda CX-3.

Police were called shortly before 5pm

The man from Peterborough died at the scene. Another motorcyclist travelling with him on a blue Yamaha bike was not injured.

The drivers of the Ford and the Mazda were not seriously injured, remained at the scene and are assisting police with the investigation.
