Matilda walked into the Love Island villa as a bombshell – and her eyes totally stole the boys’ hearts. However, it’s an arm tattoo that reveals an important part of her life, and that’s her faith.
She made a shocking entrance by choosing three boys to whip up a course over a dinner date. The Love Island contestant is hoping to meet the man of her dreams, and she does “love a tatted boy”.
Matilda has important arm ink
Matilda, 24, has “one of the most important things in her life” tattooed on her left arm. She said, “I’ve got my favourite bible scripture tattooed on my arm. My faith is all about kindness and love.”
She says kindness is “what I want to preface to everyone I meet,” adding, “It’s so easy to be kind and it goes a long way. My faith is probably one of the most important things to me.”
Matilda even has a Kiss Me tattoo on her back! The bombshell also showed an interest in Will’s tattoos, who revealed he has a tattoo symbolising his mom and dad, as well as his brother’s birth dates.
Love Island star ‘values faith’
When asked what she wants the other islanders to know most about her, Matilda said, “One thing I want them all to know is that I’m a Christian – I value my faith very highly.”
Never understanding why girls like a bad boy, she added, “I’ve got a really kind heart, I’m definitely funny but also caring and loving. I’ve got a lot of love to give and when I love someone I love very deeply.”
Wants ‘someone obsessed’
Matilda confided in Harriett that she “wants someone who is obsessed with her.” Well, she’s certainly getting that energy from Sean Stone, who guessed she likes fizzy watermelons.
She joked that he should tell her he loves her, while he whispered to her during the challenge that he can’t wait for their kiss. “I miss cuddles in bed and back tickles, I love being in a relationship,” she said.
Matilda added, “I want someone with a kind heart, funny and confident. Looks wise, I like tan, good teeth and muscles. Sean seems so kind and has a lovely heart, he’s my number one.”
