Diss Carnival: Did you make it into our mammoth picture gallery?

The Wild West came to town at the weekend as Diss Carnival welcomed thousands of people to its streets – are you in our picture gallery?

People came out to watch Dinsdale the Duck lead around 30 floats through the town, before reaching Diss Park, where there was hours of fun to be had.

Cowboy stunt shows, Texas two-step dance lessons, a carnival rodeo bull and gold panning were among a host of activities at Sunday’s showpiece.

“The turnout exceeded our expectations, with an impressive number of people coming together to celebrate and enjoy the day.

“The vibrant atmosphere, fantastic performances and free activities made it an unforgettable event for all.”

The fun day, which included dog shows, a fun fair, circus performers and arts and crafts were followed by an evening of live music.

Mrs Jaynes said: “We would like to extend our thanks to everyone who attended and supported us.

“Their enthusiasm and support are what makes this community event so special.

“We also want to thank the parade entrants, volunteers, performers, stallholders, window dressing entrants and our sponsors for their fantastic support.”
