Explosions damage Russian military base and equipment in occupied Mariupol

The blasts affected a training ground near the village of Staryi Krym and another base close to the military commissariat in Nikolske, according to preliminary reports from the city council.

The Ukrainian partisan movement Atesh, which monitors Russian forces in the region, noted on June 5 that Russian troops in Mariupol appeared to be in disarray, frequently changing their positions and relocating air defense systems toward Crimea.

An Atesh spokesperson revealed that Russian forces received orders to move into residential areas to better protect their equipment and personnel from further attacks.
