What former Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard has done to help resolve his uncertain future

The summer transfer window brings a lot of excitement to the Celtic fans as they watch to see what Brendan Rodgers will do to help strengthen the first team.

With the club being linked to a number of players already, mostly in the goalkeeping department, it does seem like Celtic are putting out feelers to help not only replace Joe Hart but to also add personnel to key positions in the team.

But as with all transfer windows, we not only like to keep an eye on what the club are doing but also how former players are getting on at their current clubs.

We discussed this morning how a potential return of Kieran Tierney to Celtic could be in doubt after the injury he picked up at Euro 2024 ruled him out for the rest of the tournament.

But there is another former Celtic man whose future looks uncertain after being put up for sale by his current club.

Odsonne Edouard changes agents

Odsonne Edouard looks set to leave Crystal Palace after being put up for sale at the end of the season.

With no bids of note in place yet for the former Quadruple Treble-winning hero, it seems he has taken matters into his own hands to resolve his uncertain future.

According to The Sun print edition page 55, Edouard has now changed agents and is now with the football agency PLG.

Despite making 101 appearances for the London club, the Frenchman has scored just 22 goals in three seasons and now looks on his way out.

When it was first announced that Edouard could be leaving Palace, the Celtic fans debated the merits of a possible Parkhead return.

But with the mid-table Premier League side almost certainly looking to recoup much of the transfer fee paid to Celtic and coupled with the salary that Edouard could demand, a return to the Parkhead club would be deemed really unlikely.
