Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour has taken over the nation, and everyone knows that it’s a show that will be enjoyed by all. It’s recently touched down in the UK, and fans who were able to get tickets last summer are delighted that it’s their time to finally see the music queen live. But it’s clear that it’s not only the fans with tickets who have the time of their lives, but the people who get to work the sold-out event, too.
Fan left emotional as security guard takes center focus
When you go to a Taylor Swift concert, you would expect her to be the focus of your night.
However, for TikTok user ‘lxiords’ her focus was shifted onto the security guard working right in front of her at the Liverpool show.
In a short clip posted online, captioned, “He got me teary-eyed”, it shows a security guard facing the audience with a constant huge smile on his face, while swaying along to All Too Well (The Ten Minute Version).
In the adorable clip, the security guard is at the back of the arena facing the fans, and we all know that Swifties get very passionate about Ms Swift’s songs, so it could be that he was witnessing something overwhelming. Perhaps, like most of the ticket holders, he was just happy to be there at the Eras Tour.
But it seems he’s smiling at what is happening in the stands, and he couldn’t help but show his admiration.
It’s similar to the backup dancer that seems to steal the show whenever he appears next to the 34-year-old.
Fans were quick to comment on the video, all agreeing that the man was ‘adorable’, and looked so ‘happy watching everyone have the time of their lives’.
We can’t blame him at all. The music and the atmosphere that Tay, along with her army of fans creates in the stadium is so infectious that even those who say they aren’t the biggest Taylor Swift fans would end up enjoying themselves.
The man in the video may have thought he was just attending a night at work, but it’s safe to assume that he left the stadium that night as a newfound Taylor Swift fan.
