Watch out Prince Harry, Jason Kelce doesn't sound like a fan in latest confession

Jason Kelce went into a mini tangent on what he thinks about royalty, and it could be bad news for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, considering they call the US their home now.

The former Philadelphia Eagles center met up with his brother Travis Kelce on the latest episode of their podcast. New Heights fans were treated to the pair speaking about Father’s Day traditions around the world when Jason Kelce began to reveal his thoughts on the monarchy. It’s clear the 36-year-old isn’t a fan of royalty, so let’s hope it doesn’t come up if he ever meets Prince Harry.

As the duo reeled off various ways countries celebrate the special day, they came across Thailand’s traditions, which the 36-year-old seemed to be a fan of.

“Father’s Day in Thailand is celebrated on September 5th, which is kinda late, but I guess with it being in the Southern Hemisphere it’s around the same,” he joked.

“It’s a day to honor both the king and father’s across the country. Traditionally, children present their fathers with Canna Lilies, a sign of masculinity and show acts of respect such as kneeling at their feet.

“I am kinda hot on this tradition,” he admitted, smirking at the idea.

Jason Kelce continued: “Many families also participate in community service activities to honor the king’s legacy of kindness and generosity.

“I’m out of honoring kings because we’re Americans, we don’t do royalty, so f*** kings, but I wouldn’t mind Kylie kneeling at my feet.”

But Travis chimed in to clarify: “Not f*** kings, but just not into it.”

Seeing as Harry has officially changed his residence to the US and lives with Meghan Markle and their two children in Montecito, Los Angeles, it may be awkward if they ever bumped into each other.

If you think their circles would never merge, you’d be wrong. Prince Harry presented an award at the NFL honors earlier this year, therefore, it’s not out of the question they’d meet one day. Although, the Duke of Sussex did say some questionable things about his dad King Charles in his memoir spare, so if Jason isn’t a fan of kings, they could bond over that?

The 34-year-old may also not be ‘into’ kings and royalty, but he is a fan of Prince Harry’s ghostwriter he used for his autobiography, Spare.

Travis thanked JR Moehringer for the interview we took part in for the Wall Street Journal in December last year.

“It was an absolute honor to work with him and my guy @gstyles (the photographer for the interview),” he wrote on Instagram at the time.

“I really appreciate everybody that was involved in making this happen!”

In the piece, the tight end spoke about dating Taylor Swift and his time in the NFL.
