Fans of the Royal Family have been reminiscing over an adorable moment featuring Kate Middleton and a young fan, calling her a ‘true princess’.
The Trooping The Colour ceremony marked the return of Kate Middleton, with fans worldwide hooked to the news for any updates on the Princess. Kate had recently taken an extended leave of absence to undergo chemotherapy after she was sadly diagnosed with cancer, not long after King Charles also announced his own diagnosis. After the ceremony, people took to social media to share their admiration for her public appearance, deeming her a ‘true princess’ in a newly resurfaced video.
“Hi Princess” – Kate makes the time to chat to a young admirer
In a clip from a few years ago that has gone viral again, The Princess of Wales can be seen about to leave a building, after a Royal appearance.
However, she is sidetracked by a sweet young boy saying “Hi Princess”, while waving to her.
Kate shows her maternal side when she turns to wave at the boy with a huge smile on her face, and then makes a heartwarming decision to go over and speak to him, even though she was already leaving the venue.
She leans down to the boy’s height and asks what his name is.
The child gets a bit shy, and so Kate tries to make him more comfortable by putting her hand on his arm and then asking him if he has had a fun day.
As she goes on to ask about his toy to make him feel comfortable around her, the young boy starts moving it, to show the Princess how it works, before she excitedly adds “It looks very cool”.
The clip ends with Kate lovingly saying goodbye to the boy and his family, all while having a huge smile on her face.
‘So classy and humble’
Fans were quick to comment on the video, saying she was a ‘true princess’ and that they ‘can’t wait for her to return fully’, while others expressed their well-wishes for the Royal to make a full and speedy recovery.
One wrote: “Gosh, I just love her so much. So classy, humble, and kind. I pray she makes it through her cancer diagnosis.”
A second added: “Love Princess Catherine just like I loved Princess Diana. She is such a pure kind soul and I love how she will always give kids the time of day even if she doesn’t have it.”
While a third commented on her demeanor: “She always kneels down to be face to face with the little ones. She seems like such a kind soul.”
