Gary Lineker’s wordless reaction to Chelsea’s recent transfer activity this summer

Chelsea have looked to conduct some business early this summer in order to give the best possible platform for success next season.

New manager Enzo Maresca is set for his first campaign in the Premier League, and no doubt needs reinforcements if he is to achieve the goals set to him at his new club.

After beating a number of other sides to the signing of Tosin Adarabioyo on a free transfer, they have turned their attention to looking to make money on one big sale.

Ian Maatsen is in the final stages of completing his deal to move to Aston Villa, with Champions League football again in his sights.

In a separate deal, it has been reported that the Blues have agreed a fee for their youngster Omari Kellyman, with one or two eyebrows being raised at the price tag for a player who has very little Premier League experience under his belt.

Gary Lineker questions Chelsea’s transfers

With there being a clear theme to some of the business taking place between these two clubs, Gary Lineker took to Twitter to give his thoughts on everything.

He simply tweeted a thinking emoji, potentially suggesting that there is a chance not everything is above board.

The Blues no doubt need to add players to their first team still in order to help them compete next season, and they have recently missed out on the player that was believed to be their number one target.

Michael Olise now looks set to move to Bayern Munich, after many thought a deal that would take him to Stamford Bridge instead.

While their next targets have not yet been revealed, the most money they have spent by some way so far this summer has been on Estevao Willian, who has been brought in for a large fee with an expectation for him to be a star of the future.
