Report: What Archie Gray is now seriously considering, amid reports Borussia Dortmund want to sign him

Leeds United fans will have known all season that if they didn’t go up, then talented youngster Archie Gray would be all over the rumour mill.

Gray, still only 18, enjoyed a superb season with Leeds and fell agonisingly short of a return to the Premier League when losing in the playoff final.

As we know, Gray has a number of admirers over in England already and Leeds do not want to lose their prized asset just yet.

The likes of Liverpool are big fans of Gray, while Tottenham and Manchester City are also reportedly keen on bringing Gray to their respective clubs.

However, worrying interest from Borussia Dortmund has also emerged today as well.

The German club are known for being a top place for young talent to go and we only have to look at Jude Bellingham as a prime example.

And in worrying news for Leeds fans, reports in Germany now claim Gray is not fully ruling out a move to Dortmund.

Archie Gray open to idea of Borussia Dortmund transfer

According to BILD, Gray is apparently ‘flirting’ with the idea of making the move to Dortmund as he considers his next career steps.

It’s claimed he could immediately play in the Dortmund first-team and just like Bellingham, be given a chance to succeed.

Of course, Leeds do hold some of the trump cards and BILD also claims that an apparent fee of up to £35m could well put off the German giants.

Dortmund are not shy of paying a decent fee for players but they are renowned for doing smart business before selling on for bigger money.

At £35m, it might just price them out of the market.

But with Gray apparently open to the move and Dortmund reaching the Champions League final only last season, this will be a worry for Leeds.

Quite whether the Premier League teams keen make their own move, remains to be seen.
