Tadley motorist with no insurance, Klein Elliot, obstructed police in Newbury

AN uninsured driver obstructed police.

Klein Elliot appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, May 9.

The 23-year-old, of Bishopswood Road, Tadley, admitted driving a Vauxhall Astra on the A339 in Newbury on November 29 last year when he had no insurance or valid driving licence.

Mr Elliot, who was legally represented by Heulwen Everton, further admitted obstructing Sgt Christopher Hollis in the execution of his duty on the same occasion.

He was fined £120 and given six penalty points.

Mr Elliot was also ordered to pay £85 costs, plus a statutory victim services surcharge of £48.
