‘You fall in love’: Coach says Chelsea have signed a player who is one of the best talents they have ever had

It has been a clear aim since the new ownership came in at Chelsea to shift a large focus onto the future at Stamford Bridge.

Ever since Todd Boehly arrived, the Blues have pushed to bring in some of the top talents in world football ahead of their rivals.

The top addition up to now has been Kendry Paez, with the young South American also establishing himself as a crucial member of the Ecuador national team.

However, Chelsea have recently announced a signing for the future who is seen at an even higher level already.

The club officially confirmed the addition of Estevao Willian starting from next summer, with him tipped for big things by the likes of Neymar already.

Estevao Willian named one of the best Brazilian prospects ever

The head of the Palmeiras academy, Joao Paulo Sampaio, has gone as far to say that he thinks he is one of the top prospects ever produced by Brazil.

He told BBC Sport: “Estevao is the best player to have emerged from Brazilian football since Neymar. You watch him and you fall in love.

“He already impresses with his technique but, like Neymar at this same point in his career, he has not yet matured physically and is not as strong as Endrick, so he could still develop a lot. That’s what amazes everyone and makes them think that he will reach a much higher level.”

Estevao is doing a lot to impress in the time between now and his move to Stamford Bridge too.

Estevao copies Cole Palmer’s celebration

He scored yet again over the weekend, with him copying a certain Cole Palmer with his celebration.

The England international built excitement to his move by responding to the youngster, hinting that it would not be long before they were linking up on the pitch.

Palmer is meanwhile waiting patiently for his opportunity to impress for England at the European Championships, although it is teammate Conor Gallagher who is actually in line to start for his country tonight in their final group game against Slovenia.
