Since the beginning of the day, June 25, 48 combat clashes have taken place on the Russia-Ukraine frontline. The situation is tense in the area of Verkhnekamianske in the Siversk sector, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"Since the beginning of this day, 48 combat clashes have already taken place. The invaders carried out four air strikes using nine combat aircraft, fired more than 550 times at the positions of our troops and settlements," the General Staff reports.
Sectors updates
In the Kharkiv sector, two firefights continue near Vovchansk. The situation is under control.
In the Kupiansk sector, six enemy attacks have already been registered in the areas of Stepova Novoselivka, Pishchane, and Stelmakhivka. Three more Russian attacks are ongoing.
In the Lyman sector, five enemy attacks near Kopanky and Makiivka were repelled. Another firefight is ongoing.
In the Siversk sector, the enemy tried to attack three times near Bilohorivka and Vyimka. The situation is tense in the area of Verkhnekamianske, where four combat clashes are taking place at the moment.
In the Kramatorsk sector, an enemy attack near Andriivka was repelled. Russians keep trying to force Ukrainian troops from their positions in the areas of Chasiv Yar and Ivanivske, where seven combat clashes are currently taking place.
"The aggressor is trying to get closer to Toretsk. Today, the Defense Forces units have successfully repelled one enemy attack, while another enemy assault in this area is being held back by our troops," the General Staff added.
There have already been 13 combat clashes in thePokrovsk sector. Russians are trying to break through from the area of Ocheretyne in the directions of Yevhenivka, Novooleksandrivka, and Vozdvyzhenka. Five firefights are currently underway.
In the Kurakhove sector, the enemy unsuccessfully attempted to storm near Heorhiivka.
In the Vremivka sector, the enemy tried twice to attack unsuccessfully near Kostiantynivka and Urozhaine.
In the Orikhiv direction, the Russians tried to attack near Robotyne.
Russia's losses in the war
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, over the past day, enemy losses in manpower amounted to 1,180 soldiers. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia has lost about 546 thousand troops.
