Taylor Swift ‘swallows a bug’ and chokes during Eras Tour

Taking to the stage at Wembley Stadium in London on Sunday, June 23rd 2024, Taylor’s performance of the song All Too Well was unexpectedly sabotaged by a bug.

A fan captured footage of the singer choking after it flew into her mouth. Catching the audience off guard with a flustered look, she told the crowd: “I just swallowed a bug, keep singing.” She did her best to carry on and step away from the microphone for a moment to cough, all before resuming the song like a pro. Crisis averted.

It’s not the first time it’s happened either. Some may recall her swallowing a bug last year during a show in Chicago. A minor disruption during her Evermore segment, she had to take a brief pause to clear her throat. “Delicious,” she joked. “Oh, God. Is there any chance that none of you saw that?”

She explained there were “so many bugs,” while she was playing—it’s perhaps surprising it happened just the once. All the same, she couldn’t escape the winged menace forever, and they hit her in London with a vengeance. Given Taylor’s reputation and skill, it was no stretch for her to shake it off and keep going. It’s sure to silence some haters too.

Swifties are angrily tagging Foo Fighters after Dave Grohl dig

Reacting to the footage of Tay having trouble with a bug during one of her most loved songs, fans feel compelled to call out Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl following one of the Everlong band’s recent gigs in London.

After mentioning Taylor and hearing booing from the crowd, he said: “… we like to call our tour the Errors Tour. We’ve had more than a few eras, and more than a few f***ing errors as well. Just a couple. That’s because we actually play live.

“What?” he asked “Just saying.” Many have registered the comments as a swipe at The Tortured Poets Department singer, and as a suggestion she doesn’t perform live.

A fan shared the footage of Taylor’s bug mishap on TikTok and another commented tagging Foo Fighters. “Because I can’t @ Dave Grohl,” they explained. In the replies, a Swiftie agreed with the sentiment: “Right because have they even seen the show? They’d know better if they had.”

“Looks like she’s singing live Dave!” another taunted, also tagging the 55-year-old’s band.

Whether you like her music or not, one fan put it best… “This woman stops for nothing.” Not for long anyway,
