Radu Dragusin is one of Tottenham’s latest additions to the Ange Postecoglou revolution, here is everything you need to know about the Spurs defender.

Tottenham fought off the interest from a number of clubs to land Radu Dragusin’s signature last January, since then the Romanian has gone on to impress in limited minutes.

Signing from Italian side Genoa for £26.7 million, Dragusin’s arrival was music to the ears of many Tottenham supporters, with the 22-year-old able to provide some much needed depth in the backline.

Birthplace and age

Radu Dragusin was born in the capital city of Romania, Bucharest. The defender stayed in his home country before moving to Italy at 16-years-old, in a transfer to Juventus.

The centre-back is 22-years-old having been born on 3 February, 2002.

Dragusin comes from a sporting background with his mother and father both having represented Romania at international level in basketball and volleyball. His younger sister also plays Basketball.

Dragusin is currently dating Iona Stan, who is an aspiring architect.
