POLICE have appealed for witnesses to a serious injury collision in Thatcham.
At around 9.33am on Tuesday, June 25, on High Street, a black Ford Tourneo taxi collided with a pedestrian with a walking frame.
The victim, a woman in her late 70s, sustained a serious head injury and a bleed on the brain.
She required treatment at John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, where she remains.
Investigating officer PC Jamie Payne, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said: “We are appealing for the public’s help in our investigation after a woman sustained a very serious head injury.
“We would ask anyone who witnessed this collision or may have dash-cam footage to please come forward.
