Travis Kelce spoke about how he has nothing to hide when it comes to his romance with Taylor Swift in a recent podcast appearance.
When it comes to Taylor Swift, fans find it hard to know what to be more excited by, her record-breaking Eras Tour, or by the fact she’s finally found ‘the one’ in NFL star Travis Kelce. The celebrity couple‘s relationship went public in September 2023, when she was in attendance of one of his games. A moment that Travis has lovingly dubbed as the ‘moment he fell for his girl‘. Since then, the pair have been incredibly public with their romance, with Travis recently showing up to perform a skit on stage during the 34-year-old’s London show. Tay-Tay is truly being ‘loved out loud’ by the footballer, and in a recent podcast Kelce confirms what we already know: when it comes to Taylor he’s ‘not here to hide’.

Kelce made an appearance on the podcast Bussin’ With The Boys for its Tuesday, June 25th 2024 episode, after talk of football, things moved to all things Taylor.
When asked about keeping their relationship on the down low, Kelce reponds, “You want to keep things private, but at the same time, I’m not here to hide anything”
“That’s my girl. That’s my lady. I’m proud of that.” He continues.
Travis clarifies trying to balance their personal lives with his girlfriend’s fame: “I’m not sitting here trying to juggle like, ‘How can I keep this under wraps?’ You just don’t want to let everyone into your personal life and be able to comment on it, knowing that everything she does is getting a headline.”
The hosts go on to discuss how fantastic it is to see the mutual support the pair have for each other in the public eye. Describing Taylor, “She does seem like a real one”. Kelce responds by talking about how “down to earth” and “genuine” she really is.
Fans love Kelce’s openness on the show, commenting, “How he talks about Taylor is so genuine and sweet🥹 and how he is open to talking about her and not trying to hide their relationship is absolutely everything.”

You can’t listen to Taylor’s music without getting an insight into her past romances, which are constantly scrutinized by fans and the media. In 2016, the singer started a relationship with actor Joe Alwyn, lasting six years. During this period, the pair kept their romance almost a secret, avoiding cameras at all costs, and never making a red carpet debut.
In a 2012 interview on The Chatty Man, Taylor shares her opinions on relationship secrecy, “To me, it all depends on who you’re with. If they have a serious issue with it then you, I guess, hide or whatever, but I don’t really like that.”
“Because it makes me feel like I’m running from the law or something. I don’t want to feel like I’m a fugitive, like, ‘Oh my God, we’re having a relationship! Better put on a mask and stuff!’”
Fans, however, can’t help but notice the difference between her then relationship compared to her current beau.
This gives a whole new weight to Travis stating, “I’m not here to hide anything.” The publicity of their relationship is a complete contrast to the one Taylor shared with Alwyn.
Swift told TIME Magazine in December 2023: “When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there, and we don’t care.”
“The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.” She adds.
Travis is proud of his relationship with the Grammy winner, too, and we are here for it!
