Cyclist loses four teeth, receives concussion and abrasions after being knocked off bike in assault at the crossroads of Sulham Hill and Long Lane near Tilehurst on Tuesday, June 25

A cyclist lost four teeth, received a concussion and sustained abrasions when assaulted by a suspect in a passing vehicle.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident which occurred near Tilehurst on Tuesday, June 25.

The suspect in a passing vehicle assaulted the cyclist, knocking him off his bicycle, at the crossroads of Sulham Hill and Long Lane at approximately 8pm to 8.20pm.

The victim received actual bodily harm level injuries, including losing four teeth and receiving a concussion and abrasions.

The cyclist was heading east in the direction of Tilehurst.

Police have no descriptions regarding the suspect or the suspect vehicle.
