Team news

Hosts Germany head into the final 16 of the tournament in some decent form, picking up two wins and a draw from their group stage matches.

The home faithful will be hopeful that much more could be set to come from their team in the weeks ahead.

Denmark stand in their way, but there could be some key changes made in defence for the match.

Jonathan Tah will be suspended, following a second yellow card of the tournament against Switzerland, while his centre-back partner Antonio Rudiger is a doubt with a slight injury concern.

Meanwhile, Denmark will be looking to summon the spirit of 1992, when they won the competition for the first time.

They will be doing so without midfielder Morten Hjulmand though, with a suspension ruling him out of contention.
