Furthermore, Newcastle United sensation Yankuba Minteh is also believed to be keen on a move to Merseyside, although there is work still to do to land the 19-year-old Gambian.

When it comes to exits, there are several long-serving players who have been tipped to depart Goodison Park this summer.

And now, one ofAncelotti’s signings is reportedly closing in on a £9m exit.

Ben Godfrey, who was signed for £25m in 2020, is closing in on a move to Serie A side Atalanta. Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth shares the latest.

“Atalanta have agreed a deal with Everton for defender Ben Godfrey,” Sheth wrote on X.

“Fee is initial €10m + €2m in add-ons. Godfrey to fly to Atalanta tomorrow for medical.”

Two more big names could also depart this summer

Amadou Onana and Dominic Calvert-Lewin are two other big names who could also depart during the coming months.

Onana has been linked with the likes of Bayern Munich and Barcelona in recent times, and dependable journalist Alan Myers has suggested there is serious interest.

Calvert-Lewin has been heavily linked with a move to Newcastle United and could also exit this summer.

Simon Jordan, speaking on talkSPORT, has suggested the Toffees would be crazy to keep the Englishman, who returned to red-hot form at the back end of last season.
