'I am hearing': Fabrizio Romano shares what he's just been told about Chelsea striker Armando Broja

There’s just been a significant update regarding the future of Chelsea forward Armando Broja.

Broja, 22, is strongly linked with a potential move away from Stamford Bridge this summer.

The young centre-forward has struggled to rediscover his form since a long-term knee injury.

He went on loan to Fulham for the second half of last season, but he scored zero goals in eight appearances for them.

Journalist Ben Jacobs reported via X in May that Broja is expected to leave Chelsea this summer amid interest from several clubs. Those interested teams include Monaco, AC Milan, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Crystal Palace and Everton.

What Fabrizio Romano has heard about Armando Broja

Journalist Fabrizio Romano has now reported that he’s heard Chelsea’s Broja is attracting a lot of transfer interest.

Apparently, there’s been some movement in the last couple of days regarding the 22-year-old player.

There may be some more developments around his future this weekend.

Romano said via his YouTube channel: “Keep a close eye on Armando Broja because I am hearing there is interest of several clubs.

“In the last 24 – 48 hours, clubs like Everton and also others started moving around Armando Broja, so there could be movement around him in the weekend. We know for financial fair play, it is a crucial weekend for many clubs.”

Chelsea are alright to sell

It feels like the right move for all parties if Broja is sold this summer.

His career has hit a standstill because of a serious injury, but there’s still plenty of time for him to come back and fulfil his big potential.

He just needs the right home to play regularly and feel appreciated.

The Albania international didn’t show much during this summer’s Euro 2024 tournament, so we’ll be intrigued to see where he ends up.
