According to the report from CaughtOffside, Kudus is a wanted man this summer and has a host of admirers throughout Europe.
West Ham paid just £40m to bring Kudus to England and he enjoyed a brilliant first season, hitting double figures and becoming a key man for the Hammers.
It’s claimed that Manchester City are now keeping an eye on Kudus as they monitor the situation with De Bruyne, while Liverpool retain a holding interest in the Ghanaian.
Kudus – who Jarrod Bowen has labelled as a ‘really special’ talent – has a release-clause in his contract worth around the £85m mark and it’s suggested he thinks that price is more than fair.
The winger has recently been valued at more than another African star, Victor Osimhen, such is his stock.
A recent report from Football Observatory put Kudus above Osimhen when it came to market value.
Quite whether City or Liverpool will consider paying such a fee for Kudus is yet to be seen.
However, after a brilliant season in the Premier League and effectively proving himself at this level, both clubs will be aware that there won’t be too many better ‘home run’ type signings out there.
Kudus, then, is definitely one to watch in the summer months.
