A gambler at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City won $1,593,457 by hitting a progressive jackpot with a $10 bet on a Wheel of Fortune slot machine last week, casino officials announced.
The out-of-state player wagered $87 before winning the jackpot, which is among the top five slot machine prizes won since the hotel-casino opened in 2018.
The money will be paid out over 20 years.
Hard Rock declined to identify the winner besides saying the person was visiting the casino for the first time on Jun 26 and lives out-of-state.
There are 2,425 slot machines at the Hard Rock casino.
