A giant in the world of horticulture welcomed thousands of people to its annual rose festival.
As well as stalls, tours and demonstrations, visitors to the multi-award-winning Peter Beales Roses in London Road, Attleborough, were able to see the site’s show gardens in full bloom.
Director Robert Bell said: “It was an unmissable two-day event. We launched our 2024 rose to mark the RNLI’s 200th anniversary earlier in the year and were joined by the lovely ladies from the charity and a lifeboat during the festival.
“We raised £1,424 for the RNLI and would like to thank everyone who attended and to our team, who made it possible.”
The event also gave the firm the perfect opportunity to celebrate three of its staff.
Head rosarian Ian Limmer, wife Tina and colleague Simon White were presented with the Royal Horticultural Society’s long service awards, after clocking up a combined total of 127 years at the business.
