Indeed, millions have attended. Meanwhile, millions have missed out. Tickets were notoriously difficult to acquire, selling out in record time, and many were priced out. Taylor Swift fans in a slump over a dog at the Eras Tour
Mia on TikTok (@miaaangelinee) recently shared a video of her and her dog Aspyn at an Eras Tour concert.
The fan-favorite song All Too Well plays over the montage of precious Eras Tour memories they shared, whether that’s Aspyn smiling with the crowded stadium as the backdrop or Mia with her arm around Aspyn complete with friendship bracelets. While plenty of reactions are charmed, the most liked comment shows that many Swifties couldn’t be more jealous… of a dog.
“Ain’t no way a dog went to the Eras Tour and I didn’t,” one commented, racking up 18.3k likes and counting.
“You lost your ticket to see Travis and Jason in London at the Eras Tour over a dog who can’t distinguish between the colors of blue and green” another joked. Some have suggested the ticket would’ve been better going to a fan—a human fan, to be precise.
On the other hand, it’s important to note that Aspyn was there for a valuable reason. “So thankful we got to experience this, but also wishing we could go back,” Mia captioned her post, explaining that “Aspyn is a tasked trained service animal who trained her whole life to be able to handle these environments.”
She also warned viewers not to bring their pets to non-friendly pet spaces, as Aspyn has been trained to handle these kinds of situations.
Leaping to the pair’s defense, a Swiftie addressed it was a Los Angeles show, not a London date, and that Aspyn “didn’t need a ticket because she’s a service dog.”
When people responded by asking how somebody managed to bring their dog to a stadium show, the post’s creator took the time again to clarify, “She’s my service dog to help mitigate my disabilities.”
Swifties have spread love for the adorable duo too
Although some have tagged their friends and suggested this is why they couldn’t get a ticket, this obviously isn’t the case.
Lots have shown love for the precious memories Mia got to make with her service dog. Memories they’ll cherish forever.
“Should have gotten the 22 hat,” a commenter suggested, referring to the moment in the performance when Tay hands over her 22 hat to a very lucky fan.
“I feel like I’ve failed my dogs by never taking them,” somebody joked with nothing but love for the footage.
Lots are saying it’s one of the nicest clips to emerge from the shows. “This is the best and purest video of the Eras Tour I’ve seen,” for example.
And for those who are upset that they’ll never get to take their four-legged friend to a Taylor concert, you can always stream the show at home and have a cuddle.
