Epic Games has removed another popular Fortnite player’s Support-A-Creator (SAC) code.
FaZe Clan member Josue “Sway” Sway is one of the most recognizable names in Fortnite Battle Royale, with nearly four million subscribers on YouTube. His fame and success can be attributed to his skills in the popular game, particularly in his free building mechanics. Despite Sway’s come-up in the scene, the young content creator announced today that Epic Games stripped his Support-A-Creator code.
It’s not the first time we’ve seen such an occurrence. Professional player Cody “Clix” Conrod suffered the same fate, and Epic vowed never to give his code back. Now, Sway follows the same path as the developers continue enforcing Terms of Service (TOS).

The young Fortnite star is occasionally a controversial figure on Twitter. However, today was all business. He tweeted out the email from Epic, which states as follows:
“Upon investigating your case and your account, I was able to confirm that we have permanently disabled your Support-A-Creator due to violations of the Terms of Service you agreed upon when joining the program. That means we cannot enable your account and that you are permanently removed from the Support-A-Creator program.”
It’s a situation that’s all too familiar for those who witnessed Epic do the same to Clix. Unfortunately for Clix and Sway, this new zero-tolerance policy leaves no room for error or improvement. The FaZe member went live on Twitch according to Jake Lucky and said that Epic decided to remove his code for account sharing with his viewers.
Clix responded to Sway’s tweet, stating, “f*** bro i know the pain.” The SAC code loss represents a sizable source of income that creators must forfeit. Fortnite icon Tyler “Ninja” Blevins revealed earlier this year that he raked in $5M USD in one month from his code when he was the hottest commodity on Twitch. That shows how much of an impact SAC program has on Fortnite creators.
Sway tweeted shortly after, stating that he will use this unfortunate circumstance as motivation. “bouta [sic] start going crazy on everything now,” he said. Sway likely won’t be allowed back into the program.
