After Vicki Gunvalson declared she was “moving on” following her split from fiancé Steve Lodge, it appears the reality TV star is having some restless nights.
“I should be sleeping, but my mind won’t shut off,” the former Real Housewives of Orange County star shared via Instagram in the wee hours of the morning on Thursday, September 30.
She continued, giving a reason as to why she was struggling to get some shut eye. “One thing that people know about me is I don’t like changes,” she wrote. “Lifting my thoughts up to God while I journal and pray for peace.”
As OK! previously reported, Lodge was the one to pull the plug on their relationship. “Steve broke up with Vicki while she was filming the [Real Housewives] spinoff show in the Berkshires,” a source spilled. “After he told her this, she was traumatized. It ruined her. She didn’t want to be at the [Dorinda Medley’s] house anymore.”
The 59-year-old reality star is apparently “still a mess” and is “not OK,” the insider explained. “She’s in terrible shape. She still loves him. They had not been getting along for a long time. He seemed disinterested in her for a very long time.”
After reports surfaced the two moved to splitsville, Gunvalson took to social media to confirm the sad news.
“Yes, the rumors are true. The time has come for Steve and I to move forward or move on and we are,” she wrote on Wednesday, September 30, alongside a selfie of the two, adding: “There is no fault with either person, we are just going in different directions. I wish him the best life has to offer and to be happy, and he has wished the same for me.”
“I gave it my all, but sometimes the ‘ALL’ isn’t enough,” the blonde beauty concluded.
Gunvalson and the politician sparked a romance in 2016 after meeting at a charity event. Lodge popped the question three years later.
