ROUSH PERFORMANCE ANNOUNCES CAT-BACK EXHAUST KIT FOR V8 FORD F-150

A sound that can quickly put a smile on the face of any car or truck lover – or a frown – is the sound quality of an exhaust. As many of you are aware, different types of exhausts create different sounds, and they also offer better vehicle airflow. Yet there always appears to be room for improvement from the factory. So with that in mind, Roush Performance has just released a high-performance and long-lasting durability exhaust upgrade with two variations that will be available for the 2021 and 2022 Ford F-150 pickup truck equipped with the 5.0L Coyote V8 engine.

Roush Exhaust For V8 Ford F-150 Trucks

The 5.0L Coyote V8 engine found within the 2021 and 2022 Ford F-150 already carries a potent 400 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque which can be improved with the increased airflow and reduction of backpressure provided by the Roush Performance exhaust. Unfortunately for EcoBoost fans, this particular exhaust system is only available for the 5.0L Coyote V8. But it can be adjusted to fit any of the 141″ to 163″ wheelbase vehicles.

Optional Roush Active Exhaust Upgrade

If a customer is concerned about the noise complaints they might get with the race-inspired exhaust, they can purchase the optional exhaust kit that is compatible with the Active Exhaust upgrade. The system gives the customer total control over the exhaust sound and includes an illuminated switch that mounts to the dash so users can seamlessly switch the exhaust between open and closed. The button mounts beneath the steering wheel but unfortunately requires a bit of drilling to install, which may be a drawback for some.

The Roush Ford F-150 Cat-Back Exhaust system is made from corrosion-resistant T-304 stainless steel and is designed with high-flow mandrel bends. Roush guarantees the high-flow performance muffler will put a smile on customers’ faces every time they drive. The upgrade also features dual tips with the Roush logo on them. The exhaust tips exit out the side of the vehicle and are also made of durable 304 steel. The installation is also relatively straightforward, and on the rating scale, they mark it as a novice upgrade to the truck.
