Sharina Hudson flaunted a giant rock via her Instagram, reported The Sun. A source spilled the producer shelled out $80,000 for the engagement ring.
The Wendy Williams Show host and Hunter were married from 1997-2019. The daytime diva slapped her ex with divorce papers after whispers surfaced that he fathered a child with another woman, allegedly Hudson.
Williams and Hunter share 21-year-old son Kevin Hunter Jr. together.
The former Wendy producer’s engagement comes shortly after a source spilled The Ask Wendy: Straight-Up Advice for All the Drama In Your Life author is increasingly becoming frustrated over her ex flaunting his lavish lifestyle as she battles her failing health.
“She's getting better but she has been broken for a while and much of it is because of the way she feels her ex husband and his new family are enjoying the fruits of her labor,” a source dished of the 57-year-old chat show host, who was hospitalized for “psychiatric services” last month.
“She is hurt and betrayed and realizes how staying in an abusive situation has hurt her health,” revealed the insider, adding Williams “finds it hard to watch him build another family with someone else while she is left feeling lonely.”
Williams tested positive for a breakthrough case of COVID-19 last month amid a myriad of other health issues.
The media personality has been very open about her mental health issues and struggles with Graves disease — an immune system disorder that results in the overproduction of thyroid hormones.
In February 2018, the controversial daytime TV host revealed she had been suffering from the debilitating disease for years that causes anxiety, tremors and bulging eyes.
