2022 CHEVROLET SILVERADO LTD HIGH COUNTRY MIDNIGHT EDITION IS PREMIUM DARKNESS

The 2022 Chevrolet Silverado High Country Midnight edition has surfaced as a concept truck at the 2021 SEMA Show. And it looks great and all, but as you can probably tell, it’s based on the outgoing model (aka the Silverado LTD), and not the newly refreshed 2022 Silverado that’s highlighted by the mighty ZR2. But you can see where Chevy is going here.

As it stands, a Silverado Midnight Edition can’t be ordered in the high-end High Country trim level. Instead, customers were treated to a Dark Essentials Package, which blacks out badges and logos on the exterior. Here, we see the popular Midnight Edition lend itself to the High Country package as we’ve known it, with blacked out accessories include an all blacked out grill, with blacked out Chevy bowties and blacked out fender logos as well as black exhaust tips. 22-inch black accessory wheels round out the look, giving a dark and ominous stance.

On the inside, the 2022 Chevrolet Silverado LTD High Country Midnight Edition concept comes equipped with a Bose sound system, while the Multi-Flex tailgate features an integrated Kicker sound system that runs on its own power. That system will recharge when not in use and can be used when the truck is turned off, making it ideal for tailgate parties. Other standard features include a leather wrapped heated steering wheel, heated and ventilated 10-way power front driver’s and passenger’s seats.

It was likely that Chevrolet wasn’t ready to show off its updated 2022 Silverado 1500 High Country with a Midnight Edition package. One with Super Cruise and a new, more sophisticated interior. But at least at the 2021 SEMA Show, Chevrolet gives us a hint at what’s to come with the 2022 Silverado LTD High Country Midnight Edition. Prepare yourselves for the inevitable.
