The Hellwig F-150 PowerBoost Hybrid concept truck is a jack of all trades. It wont see a project or task it finds too difficult to handle. The F-150 Hellwig features a plethora of exciting components and is based off of the 2021 F-150 XLT PowerBoost Supercrew. And because it’s they hybrid, it packs extra power out of its onboard inverter generator.
The 2021 Ford F-150 PowerBoost Hellwig concept truck that was on display during the 2021 SEMA Show is ideal for somebody who commutes to the worksite from the campsite. The hybrid F-150 comes from the factory with incredible off-the-grid appeal, centered around its 7.2 kWh Pro Power Onboard inverter generator that’s strong enough to power a house’s worth of appliances.
Hellwig also upgraded the truck’s factory FX4 off-road package with front and rear sway bars of its own, Pro series helper springs, and suspension lift kit. To light up the night, there are spotlights and floodlights, and an underbody rock light kit as well.

For those who want to experience nomadic off-grid life in comfort, the 2021 Ford F-150 Hellwig SEMA concept comes furnished with a Dometic refrigerator, a 10 gallon shower, and a 270-degree extendable awning. If that wasn’t enough, the modded F-150 also carries a portable Ford Performance air compressor. For sleeping quarters, there’s a roof-mounted Summit foldable tent, along with tons of recreational kit mounted on top of it. As for the potty, that’s on you.
Other hardware upgrades to the 2021 F-150 PowerBoost hybrid include a Ford Performance rear differential cover, custom Borla cat-back exhaust that feature black chrome tips. The Hellwig machine sits on 35-inch tires with 17-inch wheels. The truck comes with a winch, off-road front and rear bumpers, rock sliders, and topper and fender flares. Inside the truck you will find a Ford Performance off-road recovery kit by WARN industries as well as Ford Licensed all-weather floor mats, custom Katzkin leather seats and a vehicle safe by Console Vault. And did we mention the storage compartment full of Milwaukee drills? Time to get to work!
