Ford recently sent out a dealer memo concerning Ford vehicle mid-year price increases and the F-150 lineup is included in that list. Starting this week, America’s number one truck will be slightly more expensive as the auto industry continues to grapple with inventory shortages, supplier constraints, and rapid inflation.
Ford F-150 Price Increase: Details
Information provided by the F-150 Gen14 Forum shows that all trims from the base XLT series to the Tremor see a $1,500 MSRP increase. Meanwhile, the 2021 F-150 Raptor sees a price hike of $3,300 MSRP. Lastly, the 19S STX Appearance Package for the 2021 Ford F-150 has also seen a price increase to $500. So for customers who have placed their orders before February 15th, you may find that your F-150 is slightly more expensive than what was initially priced when placing your order since the retail price is based on the window sticker. Therefore, some haggling may be needed when picking up your orders to ensure that you get the original price established before the price hikes took place.

Other vehicles within Ford’s lineup have also experienced a price hike, but none were as substantial as the F-150. Even the Super Duty sees an $1,000 MSRP bump across all trims. Of course, these things tend to be affected by several factors, including building cost and inflation. On another note, there is still some pretty exciting stuff coming to the Ford F-150 family.
For the 2022 model year Ford will introduce the F-150 Raptor R, which has been confirmed to possess a V8 engine, expected to produce around 760 horsepower and supplant the Ram TRX as the truck market’s top dog. Further down the road, Ford Motor Company has patented some interesting technology for its trucks, such as a magnetic truck bed, and a new multifunction tailgate.
