JEEP BEGINS TEASING CONCEPTS FOR THE ANNUAL MOAB EASTER SAFARI

The annual Moab Easter Jeep Safari is just over a month away, and this will be its 56th year. Over the course of five decades, thousands of enthusiasts and jeep brand loyalists have gotten together to take part in one of the largest off-road gatherings in the world. This year, Jeep is making its way to its ‘home away from home’ with several one-of-a-kind Jeep concept vehicles that will be taking four-wheeling to the next level.

The Jeep and Jeep Performance Parts Concepts are bound to prove why there’s nothing quite like Jeep 4×4 capability. Some sneak peek photos give us a glimpse behind the curtain of what’s in store for this year’s Easter Jeep Safari lineup. Jeep and JPP sketches fresh off the drawing table hint at two of the new concept vehicles, which includes one 4xe electrified Jeep SUV that will be capable of conquering even the most challenging terrain along the backcountry trails of Moab. The 4xe Jeep will also help highlight Jeep’s vision of accomplishing what it calls “Zero Emission Freedom.”

It doesn’t take an expert to look at these two pieces of concept art and identify the two vehicles depicted. The first is the 4xe Jeep SUV mentioned above which is undeniably the Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe which we know is quite a capable vehicle and, just like the Wrangler 4xe, is a plug-in hybrid. Meanwhile, the second concept sketch gives us a lot less to go on. However, it’s undeniably a Jeep Gladiator pieced together like a QR code which is a pretty cool design. Still, we won’t know precisely what Jeep has in store for the several vehicles they are bringing to the event until April 9th through the 17th.

The Jeep Easter Safari takes place in Moab, Utah, hosted by Moab’s Red Rock 4-Wheelers club. Off-roading fans from all over will descend on Moab to take in some incredible scenery while testing their metal on some of the most strenuous off-road trails here in the States. This event is an excellent reason for off-roading fans to get excited for the changing of the season, and it’s more exciting because we’re bound to see some more cool things from Jeep for the 2022 event.
