A few years ago, the idea of a Hellcat-powered Chrysler Pacifica popped up, and as a result, the automotive world went crazy, for good reason. Several people were hopeful that it would happen, but it fell on deaf ears. A few years later, an unofficial rendering from Abimelech Design surfaced, showing off a Chrysler Pacifica Hellcat. As Chrysler or Dodge has no intention of making it happen, tuner and YouTuber Tavarish took it as a challenge and has announced through his social media channels that he’s making one himself. This is not an early April Fool’s joke.
Chrysler Pacifica Hellcat Heading To New York Auto Show
Tavarish has stated that this is the most insane build he has ever done, and it will start in April. He also intends to have it make an appearance at the New York Auto Show courtesy of Classic Car Club Manhattan and eBay Motors. Additionally, according to the tags he added, it might also appear at SEMA 2022. This year’s New York International Auto Show is on April 15-24.
Beyond the announcement that Tavarish is taking on the project, details about the upcoming unofficial Pacifica Hellcat have yet to emerge. However, it’ll likely have a total power output of 700 horsepower or more. No doubt, there will also be a massive hood scoop to allow the supercharger to breathe, as well as extended fender flares to give the vehicle the very important widened stance.
According to Motor1, this isn’t the first high-powered minivan in history. Renault introduced the Escape F1 at the 1994 Paris Motor Show. That vehicle featured a mid-mounted 3.5-liter V10 from a 1993 Williams-Renault FW15C Formula 1 car. The engine produced 820 horsepower, allowing the car to sprint to 62 miles per hour (100 kilometers per hour) in just 2.8 seconds with a top speed of 194 mph. Absurd, indeed.
To be frank, the unofficial Chrysler Pacifica Hellcat likely won’t prompt Stellantis to make one, especially when considering that the Hellcat is reportedly on its way out by 2024. We’ll still get to see the unofficial one built by someone known for making some incredible conversions.
