2023 FORD F-150 ORDERS EXPECTED TO BEGIN IN JULY

Ford recently shut down the ordering bank for the 2022 model year of the F-150 on May 13, 2022. The most popular vehicle in the United States has grown even more popular over the past couple of months, which has caused Ford to stop accepting new 2022 Ford F-150 orders. But at the same time, the wait won’t be long as order banks are expected to open back up in just two months for the 2023 model year.

Ford F-150: Preparing For 2023 Model Year

According to the F150Gen14 forum, 2023 model year ordering is expected to open in July 2022, giving the company two months to catch up on current orders for the XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, Limited, and Tremor trims with hybrid and gas engines. This is excellent for people that have been waiting for their new orders for a few months now. Although currently, there’s no news yet on whether or not Ford will end up converting orders for the 2022 model year to 2023, that information may come at a later date if they end up having to do that for customers.

Ford has yet to reveal any additional information on the 2023 Ford F-150, but the memo posted in the forum states that the company will be sharing more details about the upcoming model year later, which could also include some essential information on the F-150 Rattler.

In case you missed the big news, the 2023 Ford F-150 Rattler will be an XL trim level truck featuring FX4 skid plates, an electronic rear locking differential for enhanced traction, hill descent control, specially tuned off-road shock absorbers, all-terrain tires, a dual exhaust system, painted 18-inch aluminum wheels, and unique “Rattler” badging on the fender vents and rattlesnake-inspired graphics. This will be a more affordable off-road truck for people, but it won’t see the beginning of production until this fall. Additionally, we still don’t yet know the pricing for the trim.
