Furious Trump denies that he ever said "Hang Mike Pence"

“I NEVER said, or even thought of saying, ‘Hang Mike Pence’,” former President Trump said in response to the first prime-time televised hearing by the January 6 Committee that premiered Thursday night.

“You will hear that President Trump was yelling and, quote, ‘really angry’ at advisers who told him he needed to be doing something more” Liz Cheney said at the January 6 Committee hearing. “And, aware of the rioters’ chants to ‘hang Mike Pence,’ the president responded with this sentiment: quote, ‘Maybe our supporters have the right idea,’ Mike Pence, quote, ‘deserves it.'”

January 6 Committee Chair Bennie Thompson (D-Miss) accused former president Trump of “an attempted coup” and said that “the violence was no accident.”

“This is either a made-up story by somebody looking to become a star, or FAKE NEWS!” Trump said on TRUTH Social.

Trump dismissed any responsibility for the events on January 6, 2022. “The so-called ‘Rush on the Capitol’ was not caused by me, it was caused by a Rigged and Stolen Election!” Trump said.

Furious Trump fired off a storm of social media posts calling the committee members “political Thugs” and “political HACKS.”

The former president said that the “Unselect Committee” did not want to include any “positive” statements from the witnesses. Trump accused the January 6 Committee of political bias by saying they “decided to use a documentary maker from Fake News ABC to spin only negative footage. Our Country is in such trouble.”

“I didn’t want to be a part of it,” former AG Bill Barr said in his testimony before January 6 Committee. “You can’t live in a world where the incumbent administration stays in power based on its view, without specific evidence, that there was fraud in the election.”

Attorney General Barr said he also told President Trump that his allegations about Dominion voting machines were groundless.

I saw absolutely zero basis for the allegations, but they were made in such a sensational way that they obviously were influencing a lot of people, members of the public that there was this systemic corruption in the system and that their votes didn’t count, and that these machines, controlled by somebody else, were actually determining it, which was complete nonsense. And it was being laid out there. And I told him that it was crazy stuff and they were wasting their time on that and that it was doing great, great disservice to the country.

Former Attorney General Bill Barr

“Bill Barr was a weak and frightened attorney-general . . . scared stiff of being impeached,” Trump said of his former Attorney General. “How do you not get impeached? Do nothing, or say nothing, especially about the obviously RIGGED & STOLEN Election or, to put it another way, THE CRIME OF THE CENTURY!”

The President’s Trump daughter, Ivanka Trump commented during her testimony on Bill Barr’s statement that the Department found no fraud sufficient to overturn the election.

“It affected my perspective. I respect Attorney General Barr so I accepted what he was saying,” said Ivanka.

Trump responded on TRUTH Social by saying that “Ivanka Trump was not involved in looking at, or studying, Election results. She had long since checked out and was, in my opinion, only trying to be respectful to Bill Barr and his position as Attorney Genera. (he sucked!)”
