FORD WILL BE EXPORTING THE BRONCO TO EUROPE

Though it was not part of the original plans, the Ford Bronco will officially be sold in Europe in “strictly limited numbers.” The iconic American off-roader will make its way into select showrooms on as soon as next year.

Euro Spec Ford Bronco: Details

Officially, the Ford Bronco for the European Union will only be available in left-hand drive starting in the third quarter of 2023. Ford displayed the Bronco during the 2022 Sofia Motor Show last month, which helped fuel speculation that it would be launched on the continent, and it seems those speculations were correct. The news also means that the Jeep Wrangler is about to have some significant competition in Europe, though the Jeep Wrangler 4xe is the only option customers have for the iconic American off-roading SUV at this time.

Ford has not yet revealed any technical details regarding the Euro-spec Bronco other that it will be sold exclusively as a four-door vehicle, but there’s no information regarding the specific trim levels, powertrains, or prices yet. Even so, the standard equipment for the Ford Bronco in Europe will include a Bang & Olufsen premium audio system with ten speakers and a subwoofer, a 360-degree camera, and a 12-inch screen for the infotainment system which has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and others.

Ford has also stated that the Euro-specced Ford Bronco will have a standard locking rear differential, an optional front locking differential like on the Sasquatch Package, and a front anti-roll bar disconnect system. That said, it’s not Ford hasn’t clarified if the Sasquatch Package will cross the Atlantic for European Union customers, but the company has promised that there will be a wide array of accessories, including enhanced lighting systems, a rear tent, roof tent, side awning, dedicated carriers for skis, bicycles, roof boxes, and a side awning, and roof rails.
