EXCLUSIVE FORD BRONCO RAPTOR OFF-ROADEO HAS BEEN CONFIRMED

We had reason to believe that Ford was working on a special Off Roadeo driving school for Bronco Raptor owners, and during the 2022 Woodward Dream Cruise, it has been made official, and confirmed on Twitter by Ford communications manager Mike Levine.

The Twitter post came with four epic pictures of the Ford Bronco Raptor doing some fun off-road activities. Along with the images, Levine stated that Ford is expanding the Bronco Off-Roadeo in 2023 with an all-new Bronco Raptor adventure playground with locations to be announced later. It’s still unclear exactly what Ford has in the works, but it looks like the course will be separate from the other Broncos, enabling customers to experience what the new SUV offers first-hand.

Ford Bronco Raptor: Details

The Ford Bronco Raptor is a step above the standard Bronco with a 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 that produces 418 horsepower and 440 lb-ft of torque. That’s certainly enough to ensure you can get where you need to without hassle. Massive 37-inch tires connect the vehicle to the ground, and with 13.1 inches of ground clearance (more than the Jeep Wrangler Xtreme Recon), you’ll be hard-pressed to find an obstacle that stops you in your tracks.

In addition, the ultimate SUV features long-travel shocks, control arms, and coilovers that give it a full 13 inches of travel in the front and 14-inches in the rear, further increasing its capability. Unfortunately, the vehicle is bigger than the standard Bronco, which doesn’t do fuel economy justice. So it looks like owners will be looking to spend a couple of thousand dollars just on fuel for the BRaptor. But that’s a small price to pay for an epic SUV with immense off-road capability and constant joy when behind the wheel.
