FLAT OUT AUTOS GMC JIMMY PLACES IN TOP 40 IN THE BATTLE OF THE BUILDERS

The Flat Out Autos GMC Jimmy, based on a single-cab GMC Sierra, made its way to the 2022 SEMA Show. Although the truck features a shell that can be removed and attached to the vehicle, it’s also where the back seats are located. The truck obtained two titles at the Show, which is well deserved as it looks like it came straight from the factory.

Flat Out Autos GMC Jimmy: Details

The Flat Out Autos GMC Jimmy placed in the top 40 in the Battle of the Builders and top 10 in the Off-Road category. You could own a beautiful truck like this as there will be 20 build slots for 2023; though, after the SEMA Show, we wouldn’t be surprised if they all were snatched up. The truck will come at a hefty price, but that’s expected when it comes to a custom-built vehicle like this one. Customers can expect to pay around $120,000 USD for the truck. But the price for the 2-door conversion also includes the new donor Sierra or Silverado.

The GMC Jimmy Build will be based on the GMC Sierra and Chevrolet Silverado platform and will be offered in Heavy Duty with a Duramax engine. The torque from the Duramax should work wonders when it comes to off-roading. Customers can also opt to have some options equipped for their GMC Jimmy builds, including lifts and an optional supercharger for the 5.3-liter V8 engine, because it never hurts to have more power. Flat Out Autos won’t modify the vehicles’ software; instead, they adapt the cars to incorporate all of the existing sensors and safety features, so none of the modern features people have come to love about newer vehicles will be lost from the conversion.

If you missed the truck at the 2022 SEMA Show, a trip down to the company’s shop in Jonesboro, Arizona, is welcome by Flat Out Autos for the opportunity to look at this beautiful 2-door conversion truck. You may even catch the building process, which would also be cool. Congratulations to Flat Out Autos for placing in the top 40 in the Battle of the Builders and top 10 in the Off-Road category; it’s well deserved.
