DODGE WILL DEBUT ITS FINAL 'LAST CALL' MUSCLE CAR ON MARCH 20

Don’t call it Spring Fest, and don’t call it Roadkill Nights, either. But Dodge is throwing a massive festival at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on March 20th, 2023. Formally known as the “Last Call” performance festival, the primary occasion is to mark the end of the brand’s modern muscle car era as we know it. The stars of the show will be the highly-anticipated “Last Call” special edition muscle car, as well as the all-electric Charger Daytona SRT Concept.

Interestingly, Dodge purposely omitted the “Banshee” name when describing the electric Dodge Charger concept, suggesting that we could be seeing a third variant of the all-electric muscle car. The first being the gray one that debuted during Speed Week in August of 2022, and the second being the red one with new wheels and drag radials that was on display during the 2022 SEMA Show. That being the case, we could see something that’s more production-intent this go-round, with a more down-to-earth interior and perhaps even an update to the sound of the Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust system. Early details on what to expect from the powertrain were given during a 2022 SEMA Show backgrounder presentation.

What was supposed to debut at the 2022 SEMA Show, but got pushed back due to exploding engines, the grand finale of Dodge’s “Last Call” line of Chargers and Challengers will be revealed. Rumors have swirled that this all-conquering beast of a muscle car could run on E85 fuel in order to get the most horsepower from its Hemi V8 as possible. And where other Last Call Dodges have come in both Charger and Challenger flavor, this one is expected to be Challenger only. It is the seventh and final “Last Call” model following the Challenger Shakedown, Charger Super Bee, Challenger and Charger Scat Pack Swinger, Charger King Daytona and Challenger Black Ghost.

More Event Details

Enthusiasts who can’t attend in person will be able to watch the Dodge “Last Call” special-edition reveal via Livestream at DodgeGarage.com. Additional details on the Dodge “Last Call” celebration in Las Vegas will be shared at a later date on Dodge.com and DodgeGarage.com. Also taking place during the Dodge “Last Call” festival will be the fan-favorite Thrill Rides, as well as a Dodge car show, celebrity appearances, and even drag racing. Like I mentioned, it’s basically Roadkill Nights taking place on the outskirts of Las Vegas instead of Woodward Avenue in Pontiac, Michigan.
