But if you were setting your sights on the AEV 392 version of this even more capable Wrangler Rubicon, think twice about that, as it comes in as the most expensive Wrangler SUV ever. And by a wide margin, too, as its price will top more than $115,000, even before dealers get ahold of it and add markups. That’s Corvette Z06 money and some change.
2023 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 20th Anniversary Pricing: Details
The 2023 Wrangler Rubicon 392 20th Anniversary with heavy-duty off-road parts customization from upfitter American Expedition Vehicles will have a limited production run of just 150 units. It’s not unheard of for Jeep owners to spend massive amounts of money on accessories and aftermarket parts to improve the performance and capabilities of their SUVs. As Jeep’s parent company, Stellantis, has been testing its pricing power on high-end and special-edition models, it is no surprise that they would do the same for this extremely limited model. But at over 100 grand for this SUV, we can’t imagine many people will want to even risk damaging it.
The AEV Wrangler Rubicon 392 is powered by a V8 engine with 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque, enabling the SUV to accelerate from 0-60 in just 4.5 seconds. Off-road parts include 37-inch tires and unique AEV lights, bumpers, skid plates, shocks, and other equipment for easily scaling rocks and other rough terrain. Luckily, the record-breaking $115,668 price tag is for the Jeep-AEV vehicle. Meanwhile, the 2023 Wrangler Rubicon 392 20th Anniversary vehicle, without the extra AEV package, is significantly cheaper at $94,485, but still a lot of dough when eggs and gas are weighing in the back of consumer minds.
If you want an even more reasonable price tag, the hybrid 20th Anniversary Wrangler Rubicon 4xe starts at $71,380. All pricing includes mandatory logistics and destination fees. In addition, all of the vehicles feature special-edition styling and badging for the 20th Anniversary of the Rubicon models. Ordering for the vehicles will begin later this month, and the unique models are expected to arrive in Jeep dealerships during the second quarter of 2023.
