Strawberry - Granité

Ingredients for 4 people:

250 g strawberries
1 tsp grated zest of 1 organic lemon
Juice of 1 lemon
2 tbsp grenadine syrup
150 ml prosecco
Basil leaves

Preparation:

1. Rinse, clean and roughly chop the strawberries. Puree the strawberries. Mix with lemon zest and juice, grenadine syrup and Prosecco. Pour into a metal bowl and place in the freezer for 4-6 hours.

2. After 1 hour, stir the mixture with a fork. Then stir at shorter and shorter intervals so that small ice crystals form.

3. Fill the granité into glasses and serve immediately garnished with basil leaves.

Tip: Serve granité with a dash of gin, vodka or limoncello as desired.

Preparation time approx. 10 minutes + freezing time.
