The last of the S550 Ford Mustang Saleen was recently announced. While it was a bittersweet send-off with the epic SA-40 edition, we knew it wasn’t the end of the exquisite Saleen design muscle car, as the S650 Ford Mustang production is starting soon. Saleen is already working on an epic design for the new pony car. A recent teaser image from the storied performance company showcases what an S650 Saleen Ford Mustang could look like, and it’s something to get excited for.
First Details On The S650 Saleen Ford Mustang
The rendering showcases the vehicle’s profile, complete with a prominently drooping snoot at the front, a new sportier bumper, and more prominent curves in the lower door panel. Of course, the rear bumper has also been modified, and we can’t do without the classic Fox Body styled wing at the back. Bigger wheels are also present and accounted for.
We can expect to see the upcoming S650 Saleen Ford Mustang in 2024 with three models for customers to choose from. The White Label plans to offer a minimum of 500 horsepower, the Yellow Label adds more power with a minimum of 750 ponies, and the Black Label is expected to exceed 800 horsepower. All of this means that not only will customers have a sleek-looking S650 Ford Mustang, but they’ll have added power to boot. Hopefully Saleen is an “authorized tuner” for the new Mustang, otherwise these performance packages might take longer.
In addition to the increased performance, all new Saleen Mustangs will get the latest Racecraft suspension, improved aerodynamics, as we’ve seen with the 302 design render, and better braking. Saleen also plans to add a custom interior to the car, which should give the premium Fox Body-inspired S650 Ford Mustang some even greater appeal on the inside, which is where the driver will remain at the center, with all that Ford has incorporated to make the 7th generation Mustang an even more elevated experience than ever before.
