Dejan Kulusevski says 26-year-old Tottenham player is genuinely ‘unbelievable’ at heading

Tottenham Hotspur winger Dejan Kulusevski has admitted he has been blown away by the heading ability of one of his teammates.

Spurs will be returning from the international break next week with an opportunity to bounce back against Luton Town.

The Lilywhites missed an opportunity to climb into the top four when they were emphatically beaten by Fulham.

One player who did return from that injury for that game was Richarlison, although he only came on for the final 10 minutes.

What Dejan Kulusevski said about Richarlison

Dejan Kulusevski’s form this season has been mixed under Ange Postecoglou having returned six goals and three assists in the Premier League.

One man who has been in fine form of late is the Brazilian striker, Richarlison. The 26-year-old had netted nine in his last 10 before picking up his knee issue.

And the Swede has been commenting on how easy Richarlison can make it for him to put crosses into the box with the heading ability he has.

Speaking on the club’s YouTube channel, Kulusevski discussed the Brazilian’s goal away to Nottingham Forest earlier in the campaign.

He said: “Play to players’ strengths. Richy is unbelievable with the head and he loves those goals. So as soon as I get this ball I try to find a little bit of space so I can put the cross in. You see Richy’s movement is also really good.”

What has been said about Richarlison’s future

The summer transfer window is going to see Spurs asked a big question on where they see their plans for the future at striker.

Richarlison was in fine form prior to his latest injury, but it’s unknown whether he can keep that going over the long-term.

Reports have suggested clubs from the Saudi Pro League could return this summer for the 26-year-old after their failed attempts last year.

However, it has recently been suggested that Spurs would consider selling him if a big offer was to land for the Antonio Conte signing.

And this is something The Spurs News has already been told by transfer guru Graeme Bailey who provided an insight on Richarlison’s future.

Although the summer window may still be a few months away from opening, Spurs are already being linked with striker targets.

Alasdair Gold has even suggested Spurs could look to pounce on the opportunity that is likely to arise this summer with Brentford’s Ivan Toney.
