Leicester City are facing a potential points deduction next season after being charged by the Premier League for breaching Profit and Sustainability regulations during the 2022/23 season.
The King Power Stadium natives are expected to appeal the charge after releasing a strongly worded statement on Friday.
“LCFC has been compelled today to issue two urgent legal proceedings against the Premier League and the EFL. LCFC will be seeking that each of these proceedings is determined by an appropriate and fully independent legal panel,” the club said.
